1. Remove existing front
sight from bow.
Figure #1
2. Assemble the guard
with the two 6/32 x 1/2" bolts provided. Mount the guard and the
pin with the offset to the inside of the bow. (Towards the arrow)
Figure #2
3. Fully assembled.
Figure #3
4. Insert the rear
sight between the bow and the existing front sight. Tighten down the
two 10/24 x 1" bolts just enough to allow the sight to slide.
Slide the sight in and out to allow for string clearance. Tighten down
the assembly.
Figure #4
5. Slide the rear pin
up & down and in & out until you are comfortable with your
anchor point. You should be able to look through the middle of the
front sight. Lock it down, do your adjustments with the front sight.
Cut off the remaining pin. It is made of brass so it cuts easily.
Figure #5
6. Move the front sight
in the direction that the arrow hits. (i.e., If it hits high move the
FRONT sight up, if it hits left move it left.) Start out close (10
yards) and then move back to (30 yards) and fine tune.
Figure #6
You can get three
different yardages off of one pin by putting the back pin OVER the
front pin (20 yards), straight PIN-ON-PIN (30 yards), back pin BELOW
the front pin (40 yards). You can do this by pivoting the bow- moving
your anchor point up and down.
Aim with the back pin
and use the front pin for the wind (left and right) and the yardage
(up and down).
